StarTech,could the piston have scoring on it? Just wondering?

Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me correct RPM's for a HU 700F (FWD) mower should be? Mines is teetering around the 3100-3120 area.I believe most push mowers should be btwn 3000-3100 rpm's,thanks.

No worries.I also have 56 ala fs.You can remove the head,and with a grease gun or syringe,squeeze your goo on and put back together.Not too hard.

My Ace hardware now sells and services Toro.As well as a Stihl authorized dealer.I have both as well,but to know where I can get them serviced if need be.Hope you got some good info.I did.

Hello all.As I was looking at Stihl equiptment lately,i noticed the MS 170/180 series has come to an end.I see these newer models are all coming with the new oil and gas caps.I've been under the impression that these things leaked a lot on earlier units.Are they better now?

I actually bought that set up 1st, by mistake.It's for the 180 and others.But for the 170,it didn't have the tensioning screw.

I have always thought about the tensioner on my chainsaw,and what a silly place for Stihl to put that screw.Hence I didn't use it too much because of the placement.Well I recently bought a set of dawgs and a side tension upgrade.Whar a difference!!!

Speaking of Toro's...I bought my mom a Recycler some years ago,4,5 maybe can't remember.I believe it was use maybe twice.I've got it now.Good machine with a B&S engine. Model:21378 Serial# 409990726 Can anyone tell me a manufacture date?

1st off Rivets,I hadn't done a thing to it.Yet.Probably sure it's the fuel line.When filled with fuel,it doesn't get to the bulb,but leaks.Like I said,it was from a pawn shop for $20 with no filter nor cover.Anything else I forgot?

My cheap neighbor bought 1 of these weed eaters out of a pawnshop.Surprised they even had 1 in it's condition.Leaking fuel so it won't crank.Does anyone own 1 of these? What's your opinion of it?

I don't know but mine was given 5 yrs ago.Sat for 2 yrs before me.thoro carb clean,oil change every I guess 1.5 mos,filter,Seafoam in piston,half pull Everytime.Good machine.Oh!!! New blade yearly.$20.

I solved my dilemma.The old spark plug wrenches I've had over the years came through.I fit 1 end into the other, and the holes in them gave me length and leverage

Had this equipment for 2 years and it works,and runs superbly.Heres what I have noticed...in maintaining this unit,it's hard to get at the spark plug if you don't have a deep socket.Therein lies my problem.I can't find ANY info on what size socket to get.Anyone have this same unit? WPX 3200.

Maybe raise the height.If mine is too low,that'll happen.Spinning is impeded.

Hey TLloyd,i'm in NC myself,but I see no reason you can't use regular fuel.As long as you don't let it get stale.Now that WILL cause problems.I like using a stabilizer to keep it as fresh as possible while stored.I'm partial to Seafoam.But there's others out there.2 small capfuls in your gas can...

Hey guys/gals...Hot summer coming.I know Stihl uses T27 screws.So I recently purchased a DeWalt drill/driver.But going to Home Depot,and Lowe's I couldn't find a T27 drill bit.Plenty of T25's,but no T27's.Anybody has any ideas of a place to get one from? Online or otherwise?

Got the WPX 3200.Nicely built. Looks like a toy. It's not!!! Plenty of power. Easy to assemble, and even easier to use. Takes a whole gallon tho'.Best $300 i've spent in a while. Notwithstanding my Stihls.

So I've been in the market for a pressure washer..decided on a Simpson 3200,but since I'm not gonna need it much,I've decided to do a Westinghouse 3200.Price was a main factor in case I manage to mess it up,and I will.Simple easy to use.Plenty of power.What say you all?
