I've watched countless videos and I still don't understand this. The CVT worked fine until I fixed it. Seriously, it drove in all speeds. Now it's just creeper gear. I replaced the belts because they were frayed and cracked. I paid $55 for an Oem lower belt and about 40 for an Oem upper. Now it only runs in creeper gear.
