So i put a different key switch which is a 5 prong key switch but the orginal has a prong for alt 1 which i assume is for the stator. where would i run said wire coming off the regulator? Straight to the battery?
I basically got rid of all the wiring and only wired the wires that were absolutely necessary to run/drive the mower. Example, got rid of the safety switches.
The wires comin from the alternator are two black wires going to a quick connector to two yellow wires going to a metal box type of thing. Then a red wire coming off the box i have going to the battery side of the starter solenoid.
It was spark all the time and i had a piece of clear fuel type of line and at some point there would be bubbles but they would clear up when getting to the fuel pump. i also forgot to mention that my exhaust is coming out the side, would that be enough heat too cause vapor?
I have a craftsman gt5000 that i recently got running after rewiring it,it will run perfectly while idling and reving but when driving even at a slow speed after about 15-30 minutes it will bog down and turn off.
It has spark and would there still be a way for them to be activated if the wire harness is completely taken out?
Also the bowl on the carb does that need to have power all the time?
