Depends how much you would use the vacuum feature. I think for the most part i would just be using it as a blower. I would only use it to suck up leaves around bushes. Not sure which one i will get. I will probably buy it sometime this winter so i will look at both at a store and see what I like.

Yeah, just like you, I would be using it primarily as a blower, but would use it as the Shred 'N' Vac some. But in that other thread, it sounds like you have to but different parts in it to make it the Shred 'N' Vac, and it would be louder, which means it would also be louder when it was being used as the blower (unless you switched like 5 parts every time you switched uses!), and that is what I liked about the blower--it was quite. :confused3:

Ya it would be nice to have it quite. The one that I have used you had to put another tube on and attach the bag to make it suck up leaves. Wasnt to bad to do. I dont know if I would get one because i dont think i would use it much other then the blower.

Yeah, I agree, and if you wanted to use the Shred 'N' Vac to get leaves out of flower beds (I'm not saying that is what you were going to do; I'm just speaking generally), you could even use the blower for that!

Ya most spots its easy enough to just blow the leaves out. There are sometimes when it might help t be able to suck them up but its uassually easier to blow them all out.

The only time it is hard for me to use the blower is when the leaves are right up against the wall of this one house because I need to blow them OUT but I can only blow them sideways, but that blows it into another hard-to-get-to area. But I don't think that is a big enough reason to get a Shred 'N' Vac (now that I am thinking about it a lot).
