Ow often should I change the oil in my non-commercial JD 235 GT if I am using it to mow 20-35 yards a week

most say about every 100 hours since your using it more then a person that jet mows there own yard if you didn't use it commercially then it would be every spring or 100 hours what ever comes first

I kinda just go by the color/level of the oil if its dirty or low I usually change it :/ and the oil filter probably by the manual recommendations.

The gt235 is not sold as a commercial mower but it is a commercial grade mower with the k71 rear end.
Not sure if you have a Briggs pre 2003 or a Kawasaki but I change my oil after 50 to 60 yards on all my mowers. As a homeowner who cuts there yard 25 times a year then once a year or 100 hours is fine.
