I started working on lawnmowers at 13 now im 45 went to voc tech in high school junior and senior year graduated with honor role. Status from small engine repair class never really got work in a shop but did a bunch of backyard repairing for friends and other people. Always had a deep respect for lawnboys getting ready to obtain a couple one selfpropeled that runs and an old bricktop that I'm fixing to restore( complete overhaul, paintjob, and the like). Looking forward to reading the lawnboys forum to keep up on all the lawnboy junkies like myself.

Hey, robinb66, I'd sure like to see some photos of that old bricktop in the Lawn-Boy forum. Where did you find it?

i started last year as a fluke, fixed my parents mower then all of my friends equipment. 200+ pieces of equipment later i have equipment everywhere (mostly free or trade ins) it has become a crazy profitable hobby also. everything from electric hedgers to Exmark mowers. I also have CAD (chainsaw Addiction Disorder) that i am trying to kick. i truly enjoy helping folks get their equipment back in order. Old Honda, Snapper, John Deere stuff i like the best but appreciate all of them. PS never gaurentee a chainsaw when selling it. (i have had several folks straight gas them even after my 15 minutes of how to operate them)

About those old bricktops... they are collectible. I would not delay in buying that mower -- if at all possible. If it's selling at a good price (which you didn't mention), it could get snapped up at any moment.
