Is walmart not selling SAE 30w oil in the gallon?

On a walmart search, only thing that pops up is their bar and chain oil in 30w. I don't want that. Guess they quit selling it.

They DO have SAE 30w in the quart size.

Bought the very same oil last time. Like 6 bucks more per gallon over Supertech. Might be going to 15w-40 for the mowers if wally's pulled the SAE 30w gallons off the shelf.

That Shell stuff isn't even synthetic. Not that it really matters in a mower.

SAE has outlasted its usefulness in modern engines.

If you are in a cold climate, 10W 30 is the better choice. The manuals that state SAE 30 were printed 50 years ago when that oil was used in practically everything. My 1963 JD 3010 calls for SAE 30, but I refuse to use it when there are better oils being produced.

I've seen SAE 30 come out of a quart bottle when below freezing and it flowed like STP oil additive or Motor Honey on a hot day, it was thick. If it flows that slow (bad), imagine how long it takes to lube a cold engine.
