Does this mower recharge the battery

Short answer is YES it should. Take a meter and check battery voltage with the engine running. Should be between 13.6-14.2 VDC. Lower than that and the engines charging system is not working.

Thank you. Neighbor gave it to me with a new battery. Tells me that they only last 3-4 years
