Is that an aftermarket coil? Does your flywheel have 2 small raised stud on The edge? If so flywheel for electronic ignition. I have 3 running engines with no magnet problems. What is wrong with the flywheel?

The question is does your current have a tapered PTO end? Most generator engine do.
