Toro Z-Master blades just disengage at random ?

My buddy has a 52" Z-Master that just recently started having the blades disengage while mowing, he raises & lowers the deck trying to do something, & it will start cutting again, but only for a little bit.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
 
Sounds like wires are grounding out some where. Start at the PTO and work your way back to the switch looking for a wire touching metal then inspect the wire for bare spot.
 
Well obviously it is loosing power.
Random usually means broken wires or shorting.
Shorting usually blows fuses or melts fuse holders.
Clutch wires have a habit of breaking off where they enter the clutch.

Thank You Chuck / BlazNT, will let him know to check there & trace them back. Yep, I'm an dude, in fact an older one.

And Thanks Bert, I'm not the new kid on the block. but appreciate the input just the same. No blown fuses or even melted ones.
