Engine RPM HRR2169VYA

Hi All:
This mower uses the GC160 engine. A question came up in a recent mower discussion about the full speed engine RPM on this mower.
My guess was with the throttle fully advanced, Honda would have the engine running about 2500rpm. My friend was of the opinion of closer to 3000. Or more.
Does anyone here know the correct number?

High idle which is throttle wide open and govenor controlling the speed should be 3400 +/- 500 rpm
The actual running speed varies model to model depending upon the cutting width to control the blade tip speed.
So different mowers with exactly the same engine will have different running speeds because the blades are running at crank shaft speeds.
