Carrying Trimmer Line

I never used the gator line.
I man at the flea market had a few packs of it today. I almost bought some to try it.

It's good stuff,, I use the .105 in the 110 Stihl and it cuts about everything and anything I've come across. I've never used the .095.

Some .095 my trimmer won't sling the .105 as fast as it should.

I am still trying to get my wife to let me get a 110
She thinks it is to heavy.

Did any of you read the post? Pre cut, PRE CUT. I did not read word spool anywhere in the OP. Bob E seems to understand what the guy is talking about. Not everyone has the same equipment. Reloading a spool is more complicated then loading a single line.

calm down cool guy, I did read the post. I will say only a dork would that obviously still uses a plug in string trimmer would think its easier to reload a precut vs a spool. I simply push the line through and twist the head until its full. I remember the first time I trimmed a yard.

I'll mail you a pack of it, I don't like it. I have a pack that jw Thomas rep gave me that just keeps getting moved around. I tried one pack but its expensive and seems to break off right at the head and won't feed out

Is it the .095 that has the Kevlar string in the middle of it?

Listen to your wife cause she's right, it is heavy 12.1lbs I'd go to the RX100 it's the same size engine 31.4cc and it's 10.8 lbs, it will be my next.

That's the kind I use. It seems to hold up very well for me even when cutting thick grass. Until they come out with something I find better that's what I'm going to stay with. With it being to brittle for you have you tried soaking you string in water overnight? They say it makes it stronger.

Not really sure what's in the middle. Some seem to think it's a Kevlar some say it's a metal, I know It's a dual or co-polymer monofilament trimmer line. If you choose to buy it and use it the first thing you need to do is take the stuff home and fill up your sink with water and soak or submerge the stuff for at least 24 hours before spooling it on your trimmer and don't leave it in the sun.
