I have 2 exmarks, one is a 27hp 60" and the other is a 23 hp 50" (i think) Just wondering if any of you have ever hooked two of them together to make a really wide cut? I'm wondering about how to disengage the pulling tires on the smaller mower? also what type of hitch hook up would be best? thanks!

You would be better off with a tow behind buddy mower. What you are describing has given me a head ache. :confused2:

What I did was buy a few used commercial walk behinds, gear driven with blown transmissions..they are cheap and durable.Build a hitch to offset tow it on the left side behind you..adjust your cut heights ...
They tow easy and last forever. .I've found 5 gallons of fuel will last about 8-10 hrs cutting 48" with Kohler CV15. ..I can dig up pics if you want.Dont even try towing something hydro

The words "blown transmissions" "durable" "last forever" sounds funny to me. Thats just me......

Yeah your not supposed to use sulkys with gear drive walk behinds. ..both these machines came with a sulky. .they are durable , but stupidity can break anything.

I hear you. Theres a lot of stupid in the world. I've had my fair share, but old age is helps keep it at bay. If they could only find a cure....
