Whats the fastest way ??

We'll always go back and forth direction depends on the shape of the yard, but will save you some time. You'll have to figure out which back and forth direction saves you the most time. If your worried about discharge, just close the chute and mulch it or put the bag on. If those aren't options you can always go around the edge a couple time with your discharge opposite of the landscaping or sidewalk or whatever you don't want clippings in.

If the grass is super long to prevent clumps I will do counter clock-wise rectangles (like doing a square around your entire lawn but it creates a stripe affect).



But if the grass is not super long I will just go up-and-back.

Square pattern definitely. That way all your discharged grass goes in one spot.

With no worry's of discharge I personally like the back in forth method and mulch but that's just me, but time wise there's really no difference. If your mowing in a square pattern the total number of angular degrees you turn is in either case will be the same.

Those lawns look unbelievable for push mowing. Nice work, what kind of push mowers are you using. We'd never push that large of a lawn, i struggle getting my employees to get results that nice with walk behinds and Dixie's. I'm pretty impressed i could use an employee with your skills. Don't get me wrong I've good guys but they don't use a push mower that good.

Thanks! :smile: I use Honda mowers and Echo handheld equipment. My Honda HRR (the mower on the right in the first picture) is just my backup. I use the Honda HRX (left mower in first picture & one in second picture) on my 20-25 lawns per week.

If it is a smaller lawn that you have then I would suggest that you mow in a forward and backwards motion.
