I want to ask as repair question

Troy Bilt 42" Bronco brakes frozen and unable to move mower. Pulled brake pads and cleaned chamber and roll pins. Followed steps to adjust brakes and adjustments seemed to work until driving. Brakes fail, readjusted and still have stopping problems. Any ideas on fixing stopping problems?

Briggs 31C707, 17.5HP. Amazon carb hunts constantly; applying choke reduces surging. Original Briggs carb runs briefly, then bogs, surges and blows black smoke. Closing fuel valve temporarily improves it. OEM carb also floods overnight. Fresh gas, good fuel flow, governor linkage free, solenoid gets 12.75V and clicks. No fuel pump. Suspect OEM float needle/seat and aftermarket lean mixture. What should I test next?

I acquired 2 hustler 1500 shortcut mowers. 1 54inch 26hp kolher. 1 48inch 22hp kohler. I can't get the 26 hp mower to charge the battery. 13.4 ac volts out of the stator. new battery. fuses are good. clean connections. swapped rectifier and ign. switch with the other mower (know to be working) and tested all 3 relays (all working)

Have issues connecting the governor linkage on a Nikki V Twin carburetors on a Husqvarna YTH24V48. Tried uploading a photo but was not able.

I bought a used toro22” recycler with no grass catcher or frame. I ordered an aftermarket one on Amazon. It came in and I put it together. Alls well. When I cut grass it throws grass between the discharge flap and bag at the top. Does anybody have any idea why it’s doing that. And what I can do to eliminate this.

Newly acquired Grasshopper 616 with bad engine
