Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever had issues with the 3 Bag grass catcher on a Scag Tiger Cat where the blower unit is running down the battery or has put stress on and blown the PTO Clutch ? Thanks for your help.
Hi Mad Mackie,
The word on the street is you have the manual for a Hustler 251K. Any idea how I could get my eyes on one?
Or, maybe you know how to unlock the wheels when the thing isn't running. Apparently most 0-turns have some kind of way to free up the wheels from the hydraulics but for the life of me I can't find it on this one. Thanks in advance!

Find your hydraulic pump(s) and in this vicinity your should see a valve handle (dump valve)to turn that will release the drive wheels. Sometimes handles located next to drive wheels on exterior of unit . Good luck.

I have the Hustler 251K/260K operators manual and respective parts manuals in pdf format in my documents on my iMac. Not able to attach them here, let me know if you would like them.

Freshly acquired Craftsman with non-running Kohler engine. New carb. Has spark. Cranks but doesn't start. Any ideas?
I love working on small engines and trucks and cars and RV repairs as well I enjoy camping, scuba diving, Flying, photograph, and I enjoy buying vehicles and fixing them up and selling them later for a bit of a profit I was an Apprentice mechanic for several years and still enjoy doing it as a hobby I love challenges and learning things along the way as well.
Can you send me the pictures of the B&S V-Twin engine with that funky thermostatically controlled choke and/or throttle control. It has a vane and some other stuff. The pics I tried to see are too small and I am trying to put one of these together. You can text at 339-788-1418 or email at rminnehan@verizon.net Thanks. Roy

The member you're trying to contact hasn't been on here since last August. You might try posting your question in the Briggs forum.
Nice to see a fellow believer on ANY forum. It’s difficult to see the wheat through the chaff sometimes. Really enjoyed your banter with some of these clowns. ?
God bless brother!

Probably. That’s a good thing though.
This is the best mower ever. I bought it right after I got married 13 years ago and if it could cook, it would be my second wife. I've managed to keep it running and I'm not a mechanic. I'm going to need a blade belt soon so if anyone has a part number, please post it. Thanks.
