Greetings all,
I am no mechanic when it comes to small engine. I have a John Deere Z235 42C zero turn mower. First thing I had to do is charge the battery. Once I did that, it turned over. It just wouldn't fire. I took out the spark plug and it was dry. My guess fuel not getting in to fire up. Now, possibly my first mistake is not enough fuel in the tank to park over winter.

I have a 2018 ZT Elite with electric up and down for the cutting deck. The mower has 47 hours on it and I think the motor that operates the deck just makes a rapid clicking noise when trying to move it up or down. It does not move either way just the clicking noise. Any suggestions?

Concerns/issues
-the left side has more power than the right. possible fluid leak on right side
-when engaging PTO you need to choke up, otherwise it'll stall out. possible spindle, carb or what?
-there's 2 tones of orange on machine. is that normal or was this pieced together?
-recommendations for maintenance parts?

Dating Honda HR214 Mower

Hi! I just bought a used HR214 mower and am curious what the actual manufacture date is. I know they were made between '84 and '89? Anyways, the code on the back is HR214FF - 6026932 and the engine serial number is GXV120 - 1409778. Thank you!!
