Can you send me the pictures of the B&S V-Twin engine with that funky thermostatically controlled choke and/or throttle control. It has a vane and some other stuff. The pics I tried to see are too small and I am trying to put one of these together. You can text at 339-788-1418 or email at rminnehan@verizon.net Thanks. Roy

The member you're trying to contact hasn't been on here since last August. You might try posting your question in the Briggs forum.
Nice to see a fellow believer on ANY forum. It’s difficult to see the wheat through the chaff sometimes. Really enjoyed your banter with some of these clowns. ?
God bless brother!

Be careful what you post...the "clowns" might still see it.

Probably. That’s a good thing though.
This is the best mower ever. I bought it right after I got married 13 years ago and if it could cook, it would be my second wife. I've managed to keep it running and I'm not a mechanic. I'm going to need a blade belt soon so if anyone has a part number, please post it. Thanks.

In search of some feedback/direction? I had a Ryobi power head with several attachments (string trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer), but the power head has gone deep six on me. I am looking at the Stihl KM111R power head. I have seen posts that the attachments will work, but my local Ace Hardware told me they will not, as they will not handle the rpm that this Stihl runs at. Any feedback? Thanks.

Owner/operator of Kevins Small Engine and Tractor Service located in South Berwick Me, 03908. I opened the shop to the public in 2008 in my 24x32 shop and the business exploded well beyond expectations. I hired an employee in 2010 and in 2014 I built a 30x60 addition to the building. I should have built it double the size as I have far outgrown it.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like your doing very well!!!
Just had the same issue and what I found is the mulching cover had backed off the safety switch. Remove the cover by taking off the 2 plastic wing nuts and depress it and then try and start it making sure the brake is set and seat switch is made. Quick fix and common on these mowers.
