STBird I wish I'd found this forum a long time ago instead of just now. I shared your DC spindle dilemma. A shame those old spindles are no longer offered. Too good of a design. Very rebuildable. Very tough. Bearings and seals available at any bearing house, trailer sales, Amazon, or Ebay. I prefer Timken greasable cup and cone for under $25.00 per spindle. A great need for a site like this to help one another.
Hey. Got the repair manual to check the accelerator transducer? Got a free rm480e. Batteries were dead. Charged them up at work. Now charger works great, batteries hold charge very well... But mower doesn't move in any position. Email is joeday123@yahoo.com thanks again
I bought a 2019 cub cadet XT2 46" enduro for $3600 with the bagger and it has NEVER RUN RIGHT!!! I took it back 3 times and the dealer told me that there was NO PROBLEM! While cutting the engine would increase and decrease in RPMs like it was about to die out with no change in grass density. $1200 later, I've had every electronic component changed and NOw am trying to sell it ASAP for as much as I can get for it.
"Have you ever pulled the metal engine shroud and cleaned the top of the block and cooling fins? This is a yearly maintenance item in ALL engine manuals. Neglect this and you are looking at engine damage." I did it!!! And got lucky as it was very clean at 450 hours. Thanks for the nag.

Hi Robert, I replaced the pan gasket on my HRM 215 sxa mower and now the governor doesn't work.I can manually adjust the rpm by moving the governor actuator, but the actuator doesn't seem to do anything by itself. I saw your response of July 20, 2012 for similar problem, and would appreciate if you could show how to recalibrate the governor, if that might be the problem. Was there a procedure I missed? Thanks!!
