ZTX5 Battery ?

ZT740, 25 hp engine. Looking for an alternative to replace junky OEM AGM battery. 1 1/2 yrs old, toast already. Heard several instances of the same thing.

Thanks, just purchased one from dealer. Fits the hole perfectly. Now looking for a hold down bracket.

just use a good piece of nylon rope, much easier than messing with those dang brackets and nuts. Especially when it's cold and raining, which you know is when the battery will die ....

Use a bungee cord of the correct length. Or purchase the correct hold-down from the dealer...they're cheap.
