ZG127s Kohler motor running loud.

My ZT has 275 hours and started to run very loud. I thought it was muffler. I checked exhaust manifold nuts, and they were loose. I tightened and it was still loud. So I bit the bullet and replaced muffler and new gaskets. Still loud. Like it’s leaking exhaust somewhere else. Also having trouble starting. The fuel filter is less than 50 hours old and I upgraded the fuel line intake with the upgraded filter in the fuel tank. Any ideas why I’m running so loud?

Blown head gasket exhaust to atmosphere
Pull the spark plug leads spray around the head gasket with soapy water then crank the engine
Blowing bubbles = blown gasket
