Export thread

Have a z520a that left side drive went out. Hyd shop said pump wore out.
No part avail. Said drive motor would also be contaminated too. Deere
wants $1950.00 for new pump and motor. Any suggestions. Any one
know of any aftermarket parts for this or do I junk it. Only has 500 hrs.

1. What ever you are doing to tear up the trannies you need to stop, learn how to mow better or something, this is the second mower and tranny you have taken out in little over a year.
2. If it was my mower I would not junk it but I take care of my stuff really well, so if you have taken good care of it then yes I would buy a new tranny for it, but if you have ragged it out then I would not put the funds into it.
3. Got any photos of the mower, what year model is it, etc.?

Then just me personally but I would invest the money and get a tranny.

If you can post the part numbers I can find one for you.

500 hours is not a lot of hours for that mower.

I am very hard on my mowers most guys would cry at how bad I abuse them. But I have never had a pump or hydro motor go out.

This is the best JD parts store I have found on line yet, I pretty much order everything from them unless I am going to be at my dealers.

these are #s for left side. Again thanks.

Call these folks and see what they will sell you a Tranny for. I buy parts from them all the time, good pricing for OEM parts.
