I am working on a ZT Z2148F, and it's giving me a headache, the issue it's that when I try to put it on neutral or drive mode it shuts down so I had bypassed the safety switches from the handlers and I still have the same issue, at begging worked out but I tried to activate the PTO and then everything shuts down... I have been dealing with this issue for almost a week so it's getting on my nerves now!!!!.

Any suggestions that I might be missing...

Thank you guys and have a great weekend or week depending when you read this posting!!!

did you try it with the belt off to determine if it is caused by load or electrical?

How are you bypassing the switches?

The first thing to do is always find a wiring diagram
When I search Husqvarna for a ZT Z2148F I get no matches
when I do a general search I do find a ZT Z2148F Gravely
So lets start with the make , model & serial numbers for you mower off the ID tag
Some use just switches, some use relays & some use tamper proof switches which can neither be bridged nor unpluged and some have control modules the latter of which are quite difficult to bypass

Since this is under the Husqvarna section and the title has it as Z248F. Using proper format either Z248F, Z 248F, or Z 248 F for the Husqvarna you will find wiring schematic in the owner's manual. Either way normally we need to look-up the model using the real model number. When I did a base search I find 9 specific model variations.

And the way the wiring schematic does not show the shorting strip in the seat switch connector but the switch used indicates one can be present. Ignore the bent terminals in the following image.
