WELCOME to these Forums...
I will start with what I consider the Most important tip I can think of....:
Never replace any part Unless you Know it to be bad. There is more than an economical reason for this... When you replace one part that is working properly, you now have a New part that 'May' Not work because it is defective, is the wrong but similar part Or could be improperly installed. Don't replace parts just because it May fix the problem. You can end up with the original problem Plus some New added problems.
You really need to discover if the engine can turn over at all, remove the spark plugs, Now try to turn the engine over... You will likely get a Lot of fuel discharged from one or both cylinders. (Hydro Locked) from fuel running through the carb into the intake and then into the cylinder(s).
If there is raw, liquid fuel in the cylinder, it will also be in the engine Oil, so be sure to drain the contaminated oil & change the filter.
You (should) put an inline fuel shut off valve that will allow you to Mechanically turn Off the fuel when the engine is Not running. If this is Not your problem I'll be surprised, but post back, there are other things that can cause this problem... :smile:KennyV
