just wondering if anyone can shed any light for me please.
I've had this mower for about 6 years and never had the problem before. i am wondering if the problem could be that im cutting grass/weeds that are too dense and wet.
Sitting there idling, blades turned on or off/ no problem, sounds great. cutting small/medium grass it seems ok too. if i go into some weed/grass that is say a foot high, i get an intermittant rattle and vibration. it sounds horrible and it feels like it bogs down as if a blade is being restricted.
I've replaced the deck belt, drive belt, all 3 spindles and blades as they were all due. I'm no expert but the pullies seem ok.
I keep thinking its the wet grass but i have cut it when it is 6 feet tall and wet, no issue what so ever. i'm at a loss now of what it could be other than replacing pullies as well.
