YTA 24v48 part question

Went to the garage to mow my lawn today and noticed this part hanging down from the front center of my ride on mower. Can anyone tell me what it is, where it connects to, etc.?

YTA24V48 there is not a 38" cut that I know of.​

Superseded to Husqvarna 581506902.

Connect to center front deck gauge wheel bracket when it was straight.

You are also missing two bow clips [5/16 and 7/16] and a washer.
