Yard Machines riding mower not getting power

Before the winter my mower worked fine. Now when I sit down and put the key in and turn it nothing happens. Normally I can turn it to the "light" position on the ignition switch and that will at least light up. I believe the problem is electrical. I've had the battery tested and it was good. Any advice?

There should be a fuse.
Or look for wires that maybe a mouse was chewing on.

Ok. I'll check for the fuse today. I appreciate it. I was also thinking a mouse might have chewed a wire.

Next winter put some moth balls on and around the mower.

Great idea.

It is crazy. Normally I keep my mower in the shed. This winter I kept it in my garage and now it won't fire up.

So I ended up pulling the fuse and it was good. The mower repair guy came out and redid the clamp for the position cable that connects to the battery and said it fired right up. There was a kink in the wire right at the connection. I saw it and I connected the battery directly to the wire I stripped but that didn't work. I assume it was just a poor connection on the positive side or the fuse wasn't seated well.
