XT1 rear axle replacement

How do i install a new rear axle on an XT1

Post the model and serial numbers for your unit. We hate it when we have to guess which one of the hundred different models branded as Cub Cadet. Will tell you that on 99% of the models you have to remove the transmission and open it up to replace an axle.

Rivet that should have a Tuff Torq TL-200D if it is like the one sitting the shop right now.

Star, do the units with 42”, 46”, and 50” decks all use the same tranny?. I don’t like wasting my time looking up each model to answer this question, as my crystal ball is out of order. If the OP wants help he can supply us with numbers. This will also tell us if he is smart enough to open a tranny.

It's an LT42 (42" deck) XT1 Enduro Series

Look under the seat for the model and serial numbers. You have to lift up the seat.
