Have an X300 mower will just over 200hrs. Was having issues starting and running so replaced the carb and it ran great for about 20 minutes and then shut off. It now will not crank. I’ve replaced the starter relay and brake safety switch but it will not crank. All connections are clean and power is getting everywhere it should. The only way I can get it to crank is if I jump 2 of the pins on the brake safety switch, it will then crank but won’t fire. Could this be an ECU issue, am I missing something? Thanks
Do yourself a big favour and buy a copy of he JD technical manual for your mower
Obviously the way you are testing things is giving a bad result .
It is worth every cent .
I do not have one so I can not consult the wiring diagram and JD wiring is a lot more complicated than the average mower .
