Have a 2013 22v42 husq. Very nice condition. Had to replace couple parts when got it. Adjusted choke fired right up. Did test run parked and won't start. Has new battery, solenoid, ignition and seat switch. Get nothing. Looked over wires etc and see no issues.

Solenoid does not engage ( no noises ) ?
Engine cranks but does not fire ?
Engine cranks and fires one or twice then dies ?
Solenoid engages but motor does not spin a complete revolution ?

Again a vital clue that was not made available
So meter comes on = fuse is good & switch is getting power
You have a wiring problem
One of the safety switches in the cranking circuit has failed or the wire are broken or the seat switch plug is loose
Seat switch is easy so unplug it then replug it and make sure it is fully home some have a shorting strip to prevent you using the mower with the seat switch unplugged or bypassed .
The actual cranking circuit is a daisy chain
Power in wire to key switch to starter terminal
PTO switch ( in off position )
parking brake
Solenoid trigger
ground
Your wiring diagram is in the parts book
The parts book is a free download from Husqvarna

That will give you the correct colour wires to test
Pull the sockets off the back of the plugs & bypass each switch one at a time starting from the key
When the engine suddenly rotates you have found the guilty party

If you get to the solenoid trigger wire and you still have battery voltage then that leaves the ground connection to the solenoid ( can be the body or a thin wire ) or the solenoid itself or the wires between the plugs .

You test the solenoid by jumping from the hot terminal on the top to the trigger terminal on the bottom ( remember the round connection )
The engine should crank if the solenoid & starter is good.

Otherwise you then go and jump between the individual plugs to find the broken wire / bad connection .

Ok will look at seat switch as brother said wife had loophole cause she was too light and it wouldn't run. I put new one in and left seat off so I could use it in my hand. Battery solenoid and ignition are all new since issue. I will look at wiring again but thing is I am no electrician and testing stuff is an issue.

Ty for info. Finally tracked it to brake safety switch. Fired right up and ran great for about 1/2 hr then started like bogging down a bit and then just died. Fuel issue? Anyway aas able to restart a little later and runs strong but has like a miss or something.

Glad to hear you have it running.
As for the seat switch, pull the actual switch out of the housing
Get a 1" self tapper and screw it into the end of the plunger to make it longer
Thus less weight will tip the switch.
Screw it out till the length is just long enough to keep the switch working while she is mowing.I do this regularly to desensatize seat switches which activate when running over rough ground.
I also do it to brake switches to overcome wear .

Turns out to be the break safety switch. Ran good for 15 min now has high low rev and will lose power then die. Replaced fuel and filter. Now has slight miss it seems and possible slight backfire sound.

when is the last time it ran right?
Probably last year. Sat outside all winter as well. Brother moved to Mt and gave it to me. In general it is like new. Especially after all the new parts i put on it. Only has 72 hrs on it.

Did you re-tune it after replacing the fuel?

Did you re-tune it after replacing the fuel? It also did run great for 15 min after I fixed the break safety switch last month.
What would that be?
