Have a mustang 50. 25 ho Koehler. Cranks but won’t start!!!! Replaced fuel filter. Plugs get spark. Noticed that the air cleaner assembly that attaches to carburetor had gas in the bottom. Poured it out and was dirty. Guessing it’s not supposed to be there. Any ideas?

Take the caarburettor off and clean it
There will be crud or damage on the float needle preventing it cutting off the fuel
Instructions are found on the outdoorpowerinfo site.
When finished turn the carb upside down and try blowing through the fuel inlet.
The float in an empty carb should be able to withstand 7 psi ( if you have a pump ) without any leakage

Try clamping off the fuel line and spinning it over without choking it with throttle wide open. If it starts take the clamp of and see it it runs. If it won't start spray some gum out carb cleaner in throat of the carb. and see if it will start that way.
