Hi, I have a 42" YTS3000 and it doesn't seem to cut clean.

The discharge side also seems to not cut as well as the trim side.

I have my own hard and a few others I maintain, and there is a good mix of Bahia.

To get a clean cut I end up having to go very slow, and almost doubling back over my last cut essentially making this a 21" riding mower.

I've checked the spindles and they are not broke, the belt is tight and not worn. The blades are sharp.

I would like to increase the RPM to increase blade speed, but the throttle is all the way up (will choke out if I go any higher)..

I'm going to pull the deck and inspect it. There may be some buildup of clippings on the underside of the deck, which I had happen with my old mower.

Anything else I should look for?

I'll admit, I have talked to other pros who do this for a living and have huge $10K zero turn mowers, and they say they can't get a clean cut on Bahia either.. So maybe I shouldn't complain.

Bahia is a pain, if it's tall, too wet or dry conditions. I have had to double cut grass in places to make the yard look good.

If it's too full or plugged up it can.

Make sure the deck is level side to side.
Mow a pass in reverse and let us know if it cuts better.
