can someone please give me a simple wire diagram from tractor to engine? It's a 2165 with a 16 horse v twin briggs and stratton. I can't under stand the ones on the web. I took engine apart to rebuild and had to wait for parts and forgot how wires hook up. I should of took pics. the main thing is does the wire going to voltage regulator a hot wire with switch on? Yes
When turned on the power generated has to get back to the battery
So when in the on position it has to be connected to the red power wire at the key switch.

According to all of the information I can get it should have a Kohler fitted.
