White outdoors LT1650

Recently, the steering went out on my White Outdoors LT1650. Is this an easy fix? What should I look for? When I steer, I just feel it clicking but the wheels won't steer. Thank you.
 
Sounds to me like the steering gear, drive gear, and bushings are bad and need replacement. Need to remove the deck, crawl under and verify.
