White lt-135 belt won't go on

The belt still has an inch to go before getting around the drive pulley. The OP manual says it uses a 754-0371a belt. I think the belt is supposed to go on easily with the deck lowered.

No, when the deck is lowered, it tightens the belt!
Belts don't go on easy, if it's the right belt they are a tight fit!

Also you must remove the rear pulling tension spring for the deck. Item 8 in the following diagram.

Never mind. Used a screwdriver to pull it over and around. Thanks again
