Hi I am looking for a husqvarna push lawn mower, to mow an acre slight slope. Which would be better, the 5521, or the 7021? Also, which one would have a better life span? Thanks

The 7021 is the better of the two, engine spec's are a lot better. The Honda engine on the 7021 is a far better engine and will last probably longer than the Briggs.

Engine manufacturer Honda Briggs & Stratton
Engine type GCV160 550 Series
Cylinder displacement 160 cc 140 cc
Net power at preset rpm 2.9 kW @ 3000 rpm 2.2 kW @ 3000 rpm
Power 4 hp 2.9 hp
Fuel Tank Volume 0.95 qt 0.95 qt
Engine name - 550 Series

I have owned the Husqvarna 7021RB (self-propelled) since January 2012. Over those 8 years, it's been used as a trim mower to mow where my 2006 Snapper rear engine rider can't get. I've had to replace the drive lever a couple of times and the in-place cover over the side-discharge once as well as routine items like blades, air filters, plugs, and oil changes. Btw, the gator-type blades improve mulching.

For the past 15 years, I prefer buying Honda engines in different branded mowers, and not buying a dedicated Honda mower. I was looking at the Toro Super Recycler to replace the 7021RB until learning that it doesn't have wheel bearings on all four wheels. My Husqvarna does which helps in turning and maneuvering.
