Where do jets go in carb?

I have an old craftsman riding mower model 445777-0129-E1 Briggs in it...took the bowl off the carb (rest of carb still on mower) and in the bowl are 2 jets! would explain the poor running! But where do they go, do they go in the openings up off to the side of the needle area, only holes I see where they might fit--sure not in the main fuel tube? Any idea why they would fall out and how to get them to stay in (after I figure out where they go?!?!)..thanks!

I was sent a diagram by Briggs, but it not correct, it shows a jet inside of the bowl on the side of the solenoid---not in my case that piece is solid...

I may have this solved--looks like the plastic throttle shaft has two hole in it where the 2 identical jets would fit, would make sense since other models have a single jet on the connecting piece where the solenoid shuts off fuelin the bowl.

The jets are held in by the rubber O rings and if they have fallen out the O rings will need to be replaced
As for where they go read this article ( Both parts ) http://outdoorpowerinfo.com/repairs/briggs_intek_v-twin_carb.asp
Also go through this thread https://www.lawnmowerforum.com/showthread.php/50838-24HP-V-Twin-B-amp-S-Fault-driving-me-CRAZY!.
Read all of it on the second page you will find the part number for replacement O rings and the reason why they are there.
Note they are different sizes,
Follow up on all of the links including the U-Tube videos, every bit of knowledge helps.

Is this your carb ?? www.jackssmallengines.com/jacks-par...st-system-fuel-supply-kit-carburetor-overhaul

You must have the 2 barrel carb with the 2 jets in it.... I can't see how the 2 jets are sitting in the bowl, unless you got it used or someone got into it........

It's almost impossible for the jets to fall out into the bowl, because there is the fuel nozzle to hold them in place.........

Bert sent you a couple links and they are good ones for you to watch.........

Let us know Mon Ami ~!~! We work on these often on this forum........
