When a battery is really DEAD

wiring replacement after a fire or overcurrent melt is about the worst job out there. I excel at finding and fixing electrical and electronic problems, however when I was a mechanic that is one job I always turned down. Guys would take it, then spend a week or more fixing wires, and the secondary problems only to end up with six to eight billable hours.

And that is the downside of electrical issues. You can spend hours and hours tracking down and repairing what in some cases us a minor repair that took half a day to find.

Will spend part of tomorrow going through the wiring harness on a 2009 Yamaha 700 that a squirrel made the decision to rearrange the wiring harness to his liking.
