I used this mower last year, but the Onan 16hp engine has coughed its last!
Good mower deck 42" and hydro drives etc etc.
The wife has told me to call the scrap man, but I am sure somebody would want it, if only for the parts.

I have to agree with your wife. I just don't like junk sitting around my house.

Thanks for your answer and I suspect you are right. However, if the engine was still good, I would no doubt be searching for rare parts such as these. I hate throwing "junk" away that may be of use to others.

I commend you for trying to repurpose it.
Too many people just throw things out.
Try putting an add on your local Craigslist for a couple bucks or free.

Now what I do have is a metal pile hidden in the back of my barn. Now once a year I load this up in my trailer and sell it at the salvage yard. I might get a couple hundred dollars for a load. One thing I don't like the looks of as a bunch of junk around a house.
