Does this mean the valves need to be adjusted or is it something more serious?

Thanks in advance.

Valves need adjusting.
Won't hurt to clean all of the heavy power connections ( ground included )

Ok. I've never adjusted valves on a v twin. Do you know of a good video or write up? Thanks.

May also find out it might not be just the valves.

What else do you think Luffy ???

Could also be a worn cam

Or a shifted valve guide but we won't know either till the gaps have been checked.

Yes true but at this point can't just say the valves could be but also could be all the above as well. Until they are check
And set and ran and then compression taken and leakdown can't just say valves and rule out the all other possibilities.

I don't think a worn cam, because he got it pass the compression stroke and it fired right up.... It also ran great.......

Yes we will find out the issue when JB does post it.......

Had a lot of them that would fire up and ran just the same as his but after setting valves and running after little while do the same over again. Didn't say it was the the cam
I said could be.

All fixed. It was the left side that was out of wack. Thanks again!
