What to do...

I never know what to do with myself during the winter. With the cold weather and the snow always just around the corner, I don't get outside as much. I want to make my lawn look pretty but it just never looks right. Is summer almost here?

What do you do to keep your mind off your lawn and gardening when you aren't able to do the things you normally can during the spring and summer? I'm going crazy here guys!:ashamed:

Well up here in southwestern Mn it only got to a high of 2 or 3 degrees above 0 so we wish for warmer weather to. I think its time to go to Florida again, we went in Dec and it was cold there then we cruised south and it was still cold, but it was warmer then southwestern Mn then. But we had fun Oh for your lawn maybe you need to get your soil sample tested and see what you need to make it look good?

Good thought! I can't believe I passed that idea up. This year's been so different for me. I normally have so much going on, but this year is so boring that I just don't know what to do with myself. Thanks again for the tip. Anything to get my mind out of this boredom  and out of the house for a bit.

I agree a hundred percent on being ready for Spring. I am so ready to get out there and get some of the things done around the yard. I haven't gotten to use my mower enough since I bought it and am ready to kick it into high gear.

Some of yuo guys are just too far north!

I started this project on Monday, have cleared the thicket, moved and dug lots of rocks, cleared out the trees and dug up the stumps. Hauled in 108 yards of top soi/mulch mixl, started to grade the yard and should be finished with a couple of days work. We had high temperatures near 60 for Monday thru Wednesday.

Getting some use out of the X749 with pinestraw rake, landscape rake and chipper. Also the 110tlb and 4520 for the heavy stuff.
