Here in the uk I see alot of cylinder machines cutting pitches etc. I tried to work out the cost running these. They must be alot mind. Heavy machine, then the big trailer. Wet fields mean you cant get on. Yes they leave a lovely finish but I dont think I could be converted in buying one. Are rotary machines starting to be more popular now ?
Ive managed myself using a rotary and can get on when its wet, due to much less weight. Personally im sold by zero turn mowers now. Speed, comfort, and next to no servicing at the end of year. All of my customers think they are great. A customer stopped me halfway through cutting and wanted a go of it
