This came in the bag with my user guide for a 5 Horse Troy Built Manual Push Mower with a Honda engine. For the life of me I can't figure out what this is? Is it for fueling?

It is the thing you stick it in the hole where you put in the gas....I think it helps prevent spills or something.

Maybe they expect you to know that....I wouldn't had if it hadn't been already in when I got my mower!! They should say what it is and where it goes!!

To tell you the truth, I don't know how that piece of plastic prevents spills (or at least somehat does), but it actually works!!

That looks more like the max fill marker on my HRC216... :laughing:

Oohhhh....got it. Well at least I was right when I said it goes in the gas-filling hole. I always fill it up past that! :laughing:
