One day I showed up at a house to mow, and I noticed that a lawn care company had been there (to fertilize and replace 2 bushes). They edged around all the flowerbeds (they didn't go a good job at it!). Anyway, I noticed the grass was white on the top, obviously from chemicals sprayed on the lawn. I also noticed that some of the grass was gone (where it was more weeds) probably from a chemical made to kill it. That was 7 days ago. Today I went back to mow and some of the grass didn't look so good, especially where it was thin before the chemicals were sprayed. Dirt was showing in some places (mostly the places that don't get much sun). This would be from the chemicals, right? What will happen to it?? Was it supposed to happen??
Sounds like the stuff that was being used at the local school here last year. Is called Tenacity i think. Selective grass and weed herbicide. I did not look real close but it seemed to kill alot of weeds and grass and leave some grass there when done. Whole place looked real white for awhile.
