LCT. liquid Combustion Technology. But Husqvarna will treat it as their own engine, So parts will be ordered using their part numbers.
\

Click on HOP parts and then copy and paste that entire PWB string into the model number field.

or on the link select CPC part numbers. These are Tecumseh PNs and generally less than the Husqvarna ones.

Example the carburetor HOP $139.99 vs CPC (Tecumseh) $82.00. Even the Ariens is cheaper than Husqvarna.

Everyone wants to create confusion these days. It's all about the money and who can claim ownership.
Its too bad some of us are just as smart or smarter than them. That's why I cross reference as many parts as I can and buy from the one with the best price.

I have never heard of LCT but after reviewing info on YouTube, they say it offers better quality than B&S!
I have had issues with B&S quality at a consumer level. I'm starting to see the cross referencing of parts is a must. Thank goodness for this web site and others where we have the professionals to point us in the right direction.
Thanks you guys

Hello J.,

Everything is quickly becoming poorly made "copycat" versions of each other. All of the original SE manufacturers have contracted out or sold most of their designs to the free market because the patents have expired.

What I see in my area is a lot is Honda clone engines that are very popular on portable generators, portable air compressors and aggregate compactors. Most only last a couple of years at best.

Small engine equipment reliability is in the toilet because everything is made with the cheapest labor & materials, poor engineering specs and very little quality control.

Most DIY consumers just keep running them down, blowing them up and buying more of the same junk because it is cheap.
