Yeah, it's like saying you like to paint your house in the rain because it's cooler.

I don't know about the rest of the country, but, here in the northwest we have two distinctly different seasons:
1. The rainy season
2. August

If you don't mow when the grass is wet, by the time it dries out, you are pretty much SOL.

I know about that, lived in Oregon near the coast years ago but I've never heard of anyone actually preferring to mow wet grass.

I don't think anyone in this area prefers to mow wet grass. It's just something you have to do now and then.

Read posts #7 and #8.

#7 Pennsylvania ---- #8 Oklahoma.
As I said in my earlier post, I don't know about the rest of the country but I do know about my area.
No one WANTS to mow when the grass is wet but often times - you have to.

I try not to mow wet grass, but there are times that I just do. The classic of course, is to clog up the deck, burn the belts, and put the thing away and wait for another day. On long grass, I don't remove more than a third of the blade at any one cut. It's always a moving target when time available, weather, and machinery are combined.:wink:

i like to mow early morning or later evening when the due is on or setting in for the night i have no problems with clogging the deck or grass building up under the deck i clean my deck out once a year and treat with liquid graphite and have never had a problem although it does make more of a mess of the mower but thats what i have the pressure washer for
