Westwood t1250 gear problems

Hi! I have problems on my westwood t1250 lawn mower. The gears are very hard to shift and the mower drives just in the first, second and maybe the third gear and reverse. When i try and suceed to shift it into fourth or fifth nothing happens the mower doesnt move.
What could be wrong?
