I have had a problem with my seat switch... For a day it would not start. It turns over but not crank. Lazer Z 60" cut 27hp water cooled
Then I got the Ideal to look at my seat and were the bolt touches the seat frame it was warrard out.
It had made a hole/indention .. I put a piece of wood between seat and frame and it started up..
I got a 2 x 1/4 flat and duc taped on the frame and it has done fine. Now month later it has done it again??
My mower is a 2002 well I bought it used with 15hrs on it
Were is the safety switch at, I want to disconnect it.
I found on Ebay for $6.50. I will replace the switch to
send me a pic if you got one..
I got to take care of this problem..
Hi-In case you haven't fixed your problem-here are pics of the exact place where the switch connects-actually a cutout in back of the seat-same shape as the switch.
There are two lugs on the back of the switch which connect to two wires-perhaps the wires fell down the seat or are sitting in the engine compartment-they did come with the mower.

I liked it very much, I just wanted a Diesel I had it about 5 years and was starting to have nickle dime problems but was down fixing it.. The Kubota is faster and like the up and down mower deck.
Dealer wanted 12K new bought it used on Ebay with 100hrs for 8K
