An 18% price increase in the cost of ammunition will take effect before January 1. This is a direct result of borrowing to much and printing too much paper money.

You need to start rolling your own.

The last president to balance the budget and decrease the debt was Clinton, but that was prior to the Democratic Party going completely nuts. Personally, I think forty-five did an outstanding job until the pandemic hit. Now we send 300 billion to Ukraine and 100 billion to house, feed, medicate, and educate illegals while we leave our citizens/veterans homeless, and FEMA doesn't have enough money to help citizens when a catastrophe hits. And don't forget the FEMA order to "avoid" homes with Trump signs. Such a mess. Shall I get into the mess abroad? He has put together an excellent cabinet of non-bureaucrats to fix this mess, but it will take some time. I have NEVER seen such an incompetent administration as we have now. Obama got social security solvent through 2050, and Trump left it alone. This administration has robbed the fund blind, and it will be broke in 2032.
Congress writes the budget laws….

There hasn't been an actual written budget since 1996. The government has been operating on omnibus bills and continuing resolutions since then. That fact is a real problem.

Incorrect; the fiscal budget is written by the president and his administration with the help of staffers and lawyers of said. It is then sent to the Congressional Budget Committee for approval, amendments, adjustments, addendums, cuts, and so on. They are sent back to the president for approval or disapproval. When an agreement cannot be achieved, Congress will either continue with the prior budget or resume negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, Congress has the authority to shut down non-essential agencies until one is reached.

Well just updated from Oct 1 To 11/21 Gardner Husqvarna price file and there were only 62494 items that had price increases. Isn't that great news?
Is that all?

So far as that Increase my inventory retail value from 92K to 100.3K. I am not even going try to find items that increased the most. But I can tell the extra 8+K is just on 440 items here. Just going past it along.

And just think DJT is now saying he will enact a 25% tariff on Mexican and Canadian goods on Day One. He is basically planning on taxing the hell out of us. He also planning raising the China tariffs another 10%.

If anyone understand business it starts with the importer and every middle man adds his markups and finally businesses like mine add our final markup. Otherwords the price I pay is markup by my normal GPM and then sold.

Say I buy direct from the importer which previously had the item for $100 which is now at least $125 then I add my 35% GPM that item that was $153.85 is now $192.31. And this don't include shipping which must also be added depending on its cost. And then of the end consumer also has to pay the local sales taxes. It is the final consumer that is getting stabbed in the back. Basically on just this one item the consumer is now paying an extra $42+ using my local tax rate if I eat the shipping costs.

BTW I will too be paying for what voters decided, so they will just get what they asked for along with the rest of us. Sorry business is business. We are here to make money not to lose it.

What I see coming is not what any of us wanted but I am hoping it doesn't come to past though it probably will. Just have to deal with what we are now handed.

Funny this wasnt the long term result last time but there sure is a ton of pearl clutching going on...again...even with a track record to follow. Businesses adapt. They did in 2016 (bringing overall prices down, if you remember) and they will again, by manufacturing locally again to avoid tariffs. They then make more local jobs, fuel the economy, and the resulting tide rises all ships. But yeah...doom and gloom I guess.

$4 gas??? Where are you located. In the midwest where I am at gas is from $2.70 to 3.10. Gas will be coming down because of the current oil glut, and it not because of Trump or "Drill baby drill either." The great achievement by any President in the last 30 years was Obama having 1% inflation at the most and very cheap interest rates. With the current political landscape, this will never happen again. Mark them as the good old days when it was happening.
