I have an x mark 72" 27 hp liquid cooled mower,i was mowing the yard and it shut off ,notice water was low so i put 2 qt's in it still didn't look full so i started it up drove over to water hose to fill up radiator.
Then water started to come out air cleaner i trained oil took out plugs and turned engine over and seems to be ok no lock or knocking sound. What may have caused this i am going to flush engine with some diesel
and change oil & filter and plugs. Do you think it will be ok

thank you fatdaddy:confused:

You'll have an answer once you flush out and run it again.

Leaking headgaskets are not totally uncommon on the Kawi's

I have found if the head gasket is bad you will have compression coming out of the radiator fill when running. Engine compression is much more then coolant pressure. I would think it's a internal engine problem where engine compression is not involved.
